Aloha! I’m SunRa Adziyaomamawu (Aw-Gee-Ya-Ow-Mama-Woo), a photographer and videographer based in Hilo, Hawai‘i, capturing everything from portraits and sports to cultural events and community stories. I’ve been behind the camera since I was 13, and over the years I’ve grown from shooting for fun to producing high-quality work for schools, events, athletes, families, and local organizations.
My style is a mix of clean, cinematic, and true-to-life storytelling — whether I’m shooting the energy of Merrie Monarch, the intensity of a game, or the personality in a portrait. I focus on bringing out genuine emotion, genuine movement, and genuine moments.
In my free time, I enjoy weight training, spending time with friends and family, and learning new skills to elevate my photography and videography.
